A last goodbye

Little Rosie, was one of our oldest cats and longest residents, she sadly died at the beginning of February. Jackie and all the volunteers are devastated by the loss.

As some of you may remember, Little Rosie came to us after Jackie rescued her. She was living in a small space in a garden wall where she had crawled after injuring both of her back legs. The injuries to her legs, which happened some time before we found her, left her unable to walk properly. Little Rosie loved her life at C.A.T.S. She was a favourite with the volunteers and was often seen ‘trotting’ up the sanctuary to Jackie’s kitchen, for her favourite treat, a dish of milk. During the final months of her life, this old lady took up residence in Jackie’s kitchen, right next to the fridge!
