It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie's beloved dog; Lady.
Lady passed away on Saturday 16th May 2009 of age related medical conditions, after a long and happy life at the Sanctuary. Lady was a rescue dog when Jackie welcomed her into her heart and home. During her time at the Sanctuary, Lady cared for and protected many of the distressed cats and kittens finding their way into the shelter of Cat Abuse Treatment Society.
Lady will be greatly missed by Jackie, her Trustees, staff, volunteers and neighbours.

Lady was an angel
Who came from up above
She walked into Jackie's life
And filled her heart with love.
Lady's now an angel
She's earned herself her wings
By spreading love where e'er she went
A Heavenly bell now rings.
